Please join us in raising awareness for 17 year old Payton Rose Freeze who lost her life to bullying not even 2 years ago. It is amazing what the Freeze Bullying for Payton group has accomplished during such a short period of time. This second annual Walk/Run/Roll is just one of the many ways they are actively working to fight back in Payton's memory.
I am honored to have the opportunity to play live for this event, providing entertainment to the crowd of walker, runners and those who are there to enjoy the activities. I will be playing from 11am-12pm and then again from 2-3pm. I'll also be performing a new original song that I find relates to the purpose of this awesome event.
Sign-in at 11am for free entry, otherwise youth and adult fee will be $20. There will be a moon bounce, face painting and refreshments as well as guest speakers.
"Payton was a smart, funny, beautiful girl, whose life was cut short by the effects of bullying. She loved life, but in the end, the bullying was too much for her heart to handle. We all have a responsibility to make sure that no one else is made to feel the way that Payton did. We must guard our actions and be thoughtful in the way we treat one another."
